to The Art of Manliness,
a blog written by a USA based couple about the lost art of
being a man. To my brief reading, there is some interesting content
there,
but there's also a lot which doesn't really hit the mark for me.
However randomly following links in stories did lead to some blogs which rather caught my eye, including:
Zen Habits, particularly posts like Zen Mind: How to Declutter and others about minimising the extraneous noise in life
mnmlist (by the same author as Zen Habits)
And serendipitously, a technology recycling ("freecycle for geeks") email list was created in Wellington: recompute-wellington (subscribe by email). There've been a few people subscribe to the list (particularly from WellyLug), and various things offered to good homes, but it's too early to know how successful it will be. (Hopefully fairly successful, as I have much IT stuff to give away to a good home, especially having missed e-Day for 2009.)
